The new earthquake retrofitting measures proposed by LA's Mayor are long overdue and will save the city and nation billions of dollars in the long run when the next major earthquake strikes... Please keep in mind that most everything contained in that new CIA report happened many years ago... Those Sony hackers exploited an obviously weak computer security system at a major studio... McDonald's sales are down... The glee over the fact that oil prices are at five-year lows should be tempered by the realization that many short-sighted Americans continue to buy gas-guzzlers...
